1. There is a satisfaction in the serigraph process. As I draw my stencils I watch the build up of different color printing inks creating a myriad of rich textures. I enjoy the attention and focus as I draw and develop the stencils needed for each color. I can spend days drawing one color stencil, as I know that when the color is printed it will enrich and build color onto the image. Thus, for each new color a new stencil is made. I draw on an acetate sheet with opaque black ink to create my stencils, using brush or pen.
